When to visit Bangladesh

The climate in Bangladesh can be described as a tropical monsoon, with moderately warm temperatures, high humidity levels, and typically rain-bearing winds. Its climate is actually one of the wettest in the whole world. Most of the places here receive heavy rainfall. During summer, from April to September, it is usually hot and rainy. The maximum temperatures are in the low up to 90 °F (32 °C).

On the other hand, there is a pronounced dry season during the months, from November to March. During this season, the maximum temperature is at 25.6 °C (78.08 °F), and the minimum temperature is at 13.5 °C (56.3 °F).

The coolest weather can be felt in January, during which time, the average temperature is at around 70 °F (21 °C).

Very intense storms occur most often in the months of April and May, September and October, and sometimes even up to November.

To make sure that your stay is going to be pleasant and that you won’t experience cyclones and other disastrous weather disturbances, it is best that you time your visit to Bangladesh during the cold season, from the months of December to March.
